My 2018 Reminisce: Decision making

It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped. Tony Robbins

The year started with writing my goals, but the anchor of the year was DECISION MAKING. I realised that decisions are the only actions we don’t take towards our goal. Sometimes it’s not so much of a bad or good decision as it tends to be subjective on people, places and purpose. My point is making a decision towards a goal (dropping out of school could be good or bad, depending on the set purpose)

I asked my self what are the 3 decisions of 2017 that resulted in my outcomes and what are the 3 decisions of 2018 for my desired outcome. 3 decisions in the most important areas of my life.

… I would keep the results of this later 🙂

I guess we are about 1-3 decisions away from our goal/dream. Think about it well; a decision you made in the past has resulted in what you experience in the future (the person you dated, the program you studied, the application you made etc) I realised that if I really wanted to see better life outcomes. I need to make a decision

In the process of making decisions, I learnt the art which I would speak about some other time

It’s a simple framework I believed help me: OPPORTUNITY vs RISK

As I move in 2019, I’m taking this art/framework with me, and my goal is on two things: INCOME and IMPACT

In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing. Theodore Roosevelt

Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen. Ralph Waldo Emerson

You write your life story by the choices you make. You never know if they have been a mistake. Those moments of decision are so difficult. Helen Mirren

The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to change and control your life; and the procedure, the process is its own reward. Amelia Earhart
